Now a days, especially since it´s summer I´m constantly trying to wear colors. One of the reasons is that I almost instantly  feel so much better when I wear colors. My mood shifts to a much brighter one, and I get a smile on my face!

The french authorities brought in the architectural firm:  Palatre & Leclere Architectes to transform this rather plain and boring preschool (a typical pre-school) into something different. I love this idea! It looks like a rainbow washed thru it!

They definitely needed guts to transform a school into this, but I definitely think it paid off! École Maternelle Pajol is now an unique preschool in Paris, and I hope that it will not be the only one!

It´s possible to rent the “containers” for $6000-$10000 a week. I just LOVE  the playfulness of the spaces.  It feels as if they really were houses and courtyard. There are so many details to catch your eye! Amazing!

I just love this building! It has a contemporary touch of elegance! The wonderful glass balconies overlooking the casino. Just by looking around you gets feeling of the high society in 1842.

Ever wanted to live in trees? Well in Harads, Sweden you do have the opportunity. Maybe not the “Tarzan style”,  but I wound not mind living in these really creative, unordinary “tree houses”. These rooms are created by the really unique architectural firm Tham & Videgård Arkitekter. The Treehotel is a hotel situated in a Boreal forest! Not only can you live in an amazing room, you have a wonderful view of a beautiful forest. It´s located at the far north of Sweden close to the Arctic circle!

“The functions included provide for a living for two people; a double bed, a small bath room, a living room and a roof terrace. Access to the cabin is by a rope bridge connected to the next tree.”

“To prevent birds colliding with the reflective glass, a transparent ultraviolet colour is laminated into the glass panes which are visible for birds only.”

What you can see here is a Finnish sauna room, which can be heated up to 90 C. You can also do it during wintertime, when it´s -20 C outside. A sauna is enjoyed by sitting on the wooden benches throwing cold water at the heated stones.

I think this restaurant/lounge is a great example, that proves my point. You might not agree, but I think most of you guys would share my point of view! 

This is basically Urban Interior. This extravagant sake bar and lounge is located in a famous shopping district in Tokyo. To be more precise in Omotesando which is in the hip and trendy Harajuku neighborhood. Harajuku is know to be the spot to be if you like observing unique clothing styles. 

The lounge which is created as a student project at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design, looks like it´s been swallowed by the monster of poppy colors and strange shapes!

It looks like a normal house right? Guess again!

“The Sliding House created, by dRMM Architecture does something that we have never seen or heard any another house do – it slides. Besides the visual awe that the slide creates, it gives the control for its residents to adjust the heating, lighting and mood of the home to suit any weather.”

This is the Nautilus! A couple in Naucalpan, Mexico decided that they wanted an unconventional home. So they hired the designer Javier Senosiain’s  and Senosiain Arquitectos to draw a unique, snail-shell shaped house. The house is an amazing combination of colors and shapes. It´s a  work of mind bending architecture and art.

The designer calls the place a sparkling example of  ”Bio-Architecture”. “The building is based on the natural principles of organic forms bring us back to local history, tradition and cultural roots, in turn creating harmony with nature.”
